Tomb Raider Reboot Without Angelina Jolie? – Lara Croft is dusting off her boots, but they won’t be worn by the original adventurer.

EW reports that Graham King, best known for producing “The Departed” and “The Town,” has purchased, through his production company, GK Films, the film rights to the video game series “Tomb Raider” and its iconic gun-toting leading lady, Lara Croft.

Those rights were once held by Paramount, who made two smash hit movies based on the game, carried by a young and kick-ass Angelina Jolie. She starred in 2001′s “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” and 2003′s “Lara Craft: Tomb Raider — The Cradle of Life.” The films, which helped boost Jolie’s rising star, made $274,703,340 and $156,505,388 worldwide, respectively, though the second film was a disappointment in domestic theaters.

Mike Starr, Ex-Alice In Chains Bassist Found Dead – It is very sad when a person dies young. Especially when someone was gifted, talented and once had absolutely everything going for them. And when their demise is due to their own bad choices, then it’s just tragic. That is the case of Mike Starr, the troubled bassist of the band Alice In Chains. It was announced today that Mike Starr has died.  He had struggled with drug addiction and even had a stint on Celebrity Rehab back in 2009.  But Dr. Drew and his crew evidently didn’t get through to the young man and he continued his destructive ways. What happened?

Starr’s body was found in his Salt Lake City home on Tuesday. He was just forty-four years old.

He was one of the cast of stars on Celebrity Rehab dealing with his demons in a very public way. But just last month he was arrested for “felony possession of a controlled substance,” which included the pills Xanax and Opana.

Blythe Danner, speaking at the press conference for her upcoming sci-fi comedy “Paul,” discussed Paltrow’s foray into music, and just how excited she is about it.

“I love it. She’s been singing since she was a baby and we used to make up songs in bed at night time from the time she was born practically and she’d be singing and I’d be singing the harmony above a third, and then she’d go off and do sixths and sevenths and I’d go, ‘What? Where does she hear that?’”
